Nicole Richie Snubs Her “Fat” Friends
So you’re over one hundred pounds, just like every single person over the age of 14? That’s no good. Unfortunately if you’re any larger than what may be read on the scale as 100 pounds, then you will have no luck in entering any of Nicole Richie’s parties. That’s right, you heard me. In an email found by the tabloids, Nicole was cited as stating that every girl to enter her RSVP only party, was to hit the scale which would ominously be waiting for her at the front door. Where should I begin with this one?
Do you really believe that somebody could be twisted enough to enforce their own physcotic beliefs on others, especially when they are hounded day in and out about the issue of their weight? Wouldn’t it be more convincing if Nicole Richie was trying to hide her problems, and stay under the radar (especially with her friends). Sure it’s easy enough to believe that Nicole Richie may have an eating disorder, or drug and/or alcohol problems (given her history in the past), but come on. This is one absolutely absurd story that even I can laugh about.

Nicole has always struck me as an intelligent girl who dumbs down infront of the media, for whatever reason. Ever stopped to think she might be making a martyr of herself to highlight the obscenity of what is respected and treasured within the superficiality of modern western culture? She’s playing the game, and she’s playing it extremely well. Ok so she’s no great philosopher, but social commentary comes under many different guises. She is both mocking and reaping the rewards from her purportedly glamourous lifestyle.
There’s plenty of time for being a fat middle-aged woman who nobody pays any attention to when the time comes….and in the meantime she’s milking it. My hat goes off to her and all who scuttle around in her wake being ’shocked’ and ‘outraged’.

Honesly, Nicole is one of my role models. She deals with shit on a day to day basis primarily from the media and this stupid site. No offense. But how many of you could really be yourselves while under constant spotlight? I think she looks better the way she is now than first season simple life. Yeah, i’d like to see her gain a few pounds but honestly it isn’t my place, or any of yours, to say so. I believe that this woman rises up to the challenges life gives her, and while she has made some mistakes (who doesn’t after all?), she has managed to overcome the lies being spread about her and seems to me to be an intelligent person. Don’t hate her because she’s pretty or rich…
on another note:
i hope you all can get a life and stop butting into other people’s business. I stumbled on this site because my roommate happened to have it up on her computer screen and i am flabberghasted that you all get a rise out of this. unbelievable.

You’re absolutely right Caitlin, Nicole must deal with a lot by being in the spotlight. And while we are on the subject, why is it do you think that people seem to be “butting” into Nicole Richie’s business? I mean, you certainly seem to being doing a lot of that as well. How otherwise could you possibly be knowledgeable about anything related to Nicole Richie? Wait a second, I think that’s what one may call a hypocrite. Just a thought.
